Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our Services. By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you may not access the Service.
Tours and Activities:
Guided- and boat tours only run when minimum numbers are met. All tours and activities are subject to weather/tidal conditions and availability. Adventure Moreton Island reserves the right to change or cancel tours and activities in extreme/unsafe situations.
Cancellation:
If you decide to cancel your tour, refunds will not be permitted. You may, however, request a reschedule:
- More than 48 hours before the travel date – $20 pp fee
- Less than 48 hours before the travel date – 100% cancellation fee
- No Show – 100% cancellation fee
Ferries:
Ferries are subject to change. Please provide active contact numbers and email addresses for amendment updates.
Minimum Age Requirements:
The minimum age differs per activity.
Kayak, Banana Boat and Sea Scooter tours are eight years old.
The snorkel tour is six years old
Diving and SUP are twelve years old
All other tours have no age limit.
Medical Conditions:
Participation in some of our tours and activities is physically demanding and may pose a health or safety risk. For your safety, you must disclose if you are suffering from any injury or pre-existing medical condition (such as, but not limited to, epilepsy, asthma or cardiovascular conditions) which may interfere with your ability safely participate in our services. Some medical conditions require physicians’/doctors’ approval to be able to participate in our tours and activities.
Note: If you do have asthma, you are required to bring your Ventolin with you to be able to participate in the tour. If you are unsure or have any further questions, please get in touch with us before booking on 07 3410 6927.
Pregnancy:
If you are pregnant, participating in Watersports activities or tours with Tangatours will require your physician’s/doctor’s approval in writing. Please bring a medical certificate with you on the day, or email through prior to arrival.
Indemnity and deposits:
Please be aware that upon arriving at the resort, you must fill in an indemnity form and leave a $50 pre-authorisation deposit. This is done for your convenience to eliminate further paperwork and deposits during the day. Pre-authorisations are frozen in your bank account and will be released within five to ten business days after your trip to Moreton Island.
Diving Medical:
You will be asked to fill out and sign the following form on arrival (Dive Medical Form). Please view this Padi document before booking to ensure you are eligible to dive.
Suppose you answer YES to any questions; further medical clearance may be required. You must arrange this independently before the day of departure.
Medical conditions that will require further investigation include, but are not limited to:
Asthma or wheezing (current or history of same):
Chronic lung disease
Surgery
Collapsed lung
Epilepsy
Diabetes
High Blood Pressure
Injury to the spinal column, brain, and heart disease
Problems equalising your ears or ear surgery as well as sinuses
Fainting
Regular dizzy spells
Taking medication for chronic conditions not already mentioned
Whilst we are committed to delivering adventurous experiences, your safety is our foremost concern.
Our staff are trained to assess such conditions on a case-by-case basis to determine if you are safe to participate. We request that you are honest and forthcoming if asked about such situations, as we ultimately look to ensure your safety and well-being.
Guests not staying at the resort:
For all Tangatours customers that are not staying at Tangalooma Island Resort, you must attain a “Day Pass” from Tangalooma Island Resort. Please click here to get your Casual Visitors Day Pass.
Changes to These Terms and Conditions:
At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Suppose a revision is a material. We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice before any new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or part, please stop using the Website and the Service.
Translation Interpretation:
These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if we have made them available to you on our Service. You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.
